To treat your Shaykh as the Qiblah

To treat your Shaykh as the Qiblah

All followers of Tasawwuf have their own Masters or what they call as a Murshid/Guide who will guide them on the certain path &  our master in this spiritual way is His Holiness Sulthan Mowlana Shaykh Nazim Q & he is our Qibla.

Some accuse us that this word can contain Shirk! As the accepted Qibla in Islam is the Holy Ka'bah which was changed from the 1st Kibla of the Muslims being Masjidun Aqsa in Jerusalam. So how justifiable is using the word Qibla to your Murshif/ Master?

The meaning of taking Bayyath through him, Mowlana Shaykh Nazim Q s that we commit our fullest leaving all our desires, wants needs & our Ego to our Shaykhs hands loosing ourselves with his existence, like a snake shredding himself for an new skin...a new life..a new beginning. What he says is the rule. What he says is the Shariah. What he says is the Fiqh. What he says is the correct interpretation of the Quran, & its him...your shaykh who becomes your link to the prophet Sallahualahiwasallim.

Once the unlettered Grand Shaykh Abdullah Dajesthani told our Mowlana Shaykh Nazim that 'you have studied Jurisprudent & you know better than me, so if i make a mistake do correct me" Mowlana Shaykh nazim Q. reply was that " How can i correct my master to whom i have submitted to follow with trust upon" which gives us the example of what is meant by the term Qibla.

Is this a Biad'a? Is this an innovation? NO its not because this was the same exact practice of the Noble Sahaba Kiram 1400 years ago. Their Qibla was none other than the Holy Prophet Sallahualahiwasallim himself who was considered as the Qiblah of the Ka’bah!!

In Saheeh Bukhari Shareef in the chapter of Adhan, Hadith 648 & 649 teachers us that when Seyeduna Aboobakr Siddique Radhiallahuanhu was leading Salath, how he turned from the direction of the Qibla towards the direction of the Qiblas amongst the Qiblas who is our beloved Nabi Muhammed Salalhualahiwasallim

Did the Sahaba commit Shirk here? or was this Innovation? Certainly NOT

The hadith records as follows

Sahih Bukhari/ Chapter of Adhaan :-

648
Narrated Az-Zuhn: Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari, told me, "Abu Bakr used to lead the people in prayer during the fatal illness of the Prophet till it was Monday. When the people aligned (in rows) for the prayer the Prophet lifted the curtain of his house and started looking at us and was standing at that time. His face was (glittering) like a page of the Qur'an and he smiled cheerfully. We were about to be put to trial for the pleasure of seeing the Prophet, Abu Bakr retreated to join the row as he thought that the Prophet would lead the prayer. The Prophet beckoned us to complete the prayer and he let the curtain fall. On the same day he died."
Narrated Anas: The Prophet did not come out for three days. The people stood for the prayer and Abu Bakr went ahead to lead the prayer. (In the meantime) the Prophet caught hold of the curtain and lifted it. When the face of the Prophet appeared we had never seen a scene more pleasing than the face of the Prophet as it appeared then. The Prophet beckoned to Abu Bakr to lead the people in the prayer and then let the curtain fall. We did not see him (again) till he died.

Thus we follow the traditions of the Sahaba & today its our Beloved Sulthan who is the representative of the Holy Prophet in this time & as the Sahabas made the Prophet their Qibla, we make our Sulthan Mowlana Shaykh Nazim Q. as our Qibla!
